Ghostly Strike
The ghost can add an additional effect when it hits with a Withering Touch attack. The effect depends on the ghost type, listed below. The DC for all the features is equal to your spellcasting saving throw DC.
- Controlling Strike (Possession)
Charisma Saving Throw: Failure: Target uses its reaction to make a weapon attack roll against a target within range (the ghost's choice).
- Forceful Strike (Poltergeist)
Strength Saving Throw: Failure: Be pushed 10 feet away or knocked Prone (the ghost's choice).
- Hateful Strike (Hateful)
Dexterity Saving Throw: Failure: Take 2d6 Fire damage. Success: half damage.
- Jolting Strike (Energised)
Dexterity Saving Throw: Up to two creatures within 5 feet of the target. Failure: take 1d10 Lightning damage. Success: Half damage.
- Slowing Strike (Chilling)
Constitution Saving Throw: Failure: The target has their speed halved and a -2 penalty to AC and Dexterity saving throws, until the end of its next turn.
