The Great Master of Greed exerts an influence, no matter how subtle, over every dwarven heart. Abbathor teaches that greed isn't only desirable, but necessary to keep the dwarves in a strong and safe position.

Ailuros is the wild and free goddess of moonlit nights and joyous hunting, a force for chaos and the patron of the alseid. With her hounds at her side, her lithe form, and her glowing moonlit arrows, she is sometimes thought of as half-fey herself, a member of the Great Hunt. She is a goddess of excellence and desire, the patron goddess of perfumers, alchemists, and those whose trade is beauty. With the scent of the trees and woodland streams in her hair, she and her hounds hunt wolves, foxes, and wild boar, protecting the livestock and crops of farmers and shepherds as well as driving away vermin.

Primordial of Ice and Water

As the demon lord devoted to darkness and the night, shadows are Alquam's natural home. He is a creature devoted to stealth, to the silent killing loved by assassins, raptors, and nocturnal animals. While he is often regarded as the Silent God, when his followers strike, they shout his name, and many of his most devoted followers are quite loud, brash people, not afraid to make plain their power. Aggressiveness and bullying are common among warriors, alchemists, and bandits devoted to the Master of Nightmares.

Altus is depicted as a powerful horned owl with white feathers, who rides across the sky pouring thunderheads from his chalice. Altus is a pragmatic Amaranthine, believing that strength is cultivated through enduring hardships, overcoming challenges, and testing mortal limitations. Stories of Altus' tenacity and endurance abound, including the time he captured the moon as a gift to Ardea, and the time he made the mountains by lifting the earth. Themes of bravery and strength are common in his myths.

The rule of law and the glory of the sun both fall in Amaunator's dominion. He is a stern and unforgiving god, concerned with keeping promises and maintaining order.

The deity of retribution, Ambro Eurix (pronounced AHM-bro YUR-ihks) also called St. Ambro or sometimes Ambrosius, usually appears as a black-cloaked, ninja-like figure wielding a wakizashi. Like several of his brothers, he has white hair.

Anansi is a trickster and the keeper of all knowledge and stories. He takes the form of a spider and spins giant webs in the forest. There, he catches all of the stories from people's dreams and gossip. Anansi sometimes keeps the stories for himself, but other times he shares the knowledge with the world so they might become wise.

Introduction

Among the golden sands of the Southern deserts, Anu-Akma guards the tombs of royalty and stands against the scourges of age, madness, and the evil undead. Deep underground, his worship as Akma-Apophis takes a darker turn, combined with the rites of a devil he conquered long ago. There he is venerated as the greatest patron of the Ghoul Empire and Lord of the Underworld. And in that form, he came also to the Twilight Empire of the ghouls and thus into the Shadow Realm.
