When you are hit by an attack, you can transmute pure air into stone or a similar material. A 5-feet wall of stone appears on your hand. The wall has 40 hit points and receives the attack instead of you.
The wall remains in your hand for the duration or as long as it has hit points and you can interpose it between you and any attack for the duration. If a hit reduces the wall's hit points to 0, you receive any remaining damage and the spell ends.
