Draconic Essence
Choose a damage type based on the drake's color, according to the Draconic Essence Table. The chosen type determines the drake's damage resistance and breath weapon.

Draconic Magic
Your drake learns the thaumaturgy cantrip and two 1st-level spells from the sorcerer or cleric spell lists.
It learns one additional 2nd-level spell at 11th level, and one additional 3rd-level spell at 15th level.
After casting one of these spells, it must complete a long rest before doing so again.
Charisma is its spellcasting ability for these spells.

The adult drake uses its Frightful Presence if able, then makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite
Melee Weapon Attack: +5+PB, 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d12 + 5 piercing damage.
Claw
Melee Weapon Attack: +5+PB, 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d10 + 5 slashing damage.
Frightful Presence
Each creature of your choice that is within 60 feet of the adult drake and aware of it must succeed on a DC 8+PB+4 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the drake's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Mature Breath Weapon (Recharge 4–6)
The young drake exhales a blast of energy. All creatures in a certain area must succeed at a saving throw, taking 5d6 damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful save. The damage type, area, and type of saving throw are determined by your drake's Draconic Essence and your Expanded Breath Weapon feature.
